The kids just loves them and they
are very protective to them.
They can look very dangerous to strangers (cause
they are very large).
Adult St. Bernards can weigh to 90 kg ( my Chaos
- 85 kg) and their heigh to 70 cm. |

St. Bernard are most of the stubborn, but do you want
a dog with out personality? They are knowed as good
protectors of the owner (and family) and their teritory
( in my yard can enter who wants, Chaos is not really
unpleasant to strangers, just contrary).

Because of their gaintisy they
can not live in a apartment so you must have yard
and place for him.
Bernards are very social and they love to be in
the center of eveything. Their long hair may give
you some trouble if you dont brush them every
2 days.
Chaos is not brushing lover but to him is easier
to brook those high summer temperature in Croatia.

Bernard is a dog you must have if you are dog lover,
they return a lot of love to their owners if they care
for then properly. Bernard dogs unfortunaly can be your
friend for just about 10 years, my Chaos is 6 years
old (and that scares me). Even you would never notice;
yes Bernard dogs have some Mastiff blood and that is
one of the reasons their giants.
They are loyal friend forever, they must be loved cause
some examples showed they can be sad and sometimes angry
(not to people) and can destroy some of owner thing.
Bernard is deffinitely great life companion and children
protecter.
There are some things my Chaos (Bernard dog) does not
understant, street is an enigma to him, I think that
is because he is giant and he isn't aware that car is
dangeour. One silly thing about Bernards - if you go
to walk with him on the same places, they will practise
to ease themselfs every time on the same place. Funny
don't you think?
Bernard dog likes to travel in a car, even if it very
warm they handle with it very well. You must have a
lot of cold and fresh water and he is going with you
where ever you want.
